Free Survey & Colour Consultation
We assess all lift doors across the building — recording surface material, condition, extent of damage, and number of floors. We agree an out-of-hours working schedule.
Out-of-Hours Scheduling
Most lift door projects are scheduled overnight or during low-footfall periods. We agree the programme in advance with facilities management.
Masking & Protection
All adjacent surfaces — walls, floor thresholds, call buttons, and door mechanisms — are fully masked.
Cleaning & Degreasing
All door surfaces thoroughly wiped down with IPA to remove all grease and contamination.
Abrading & Keying
All surfaces mechanically keyed with appropriate abrasive pads — cutting through the oxide layer on stainless steel.
In-Situ Repair
Dents, deep scratches, and scuffs filled with aluminium epoxy filler and feathered flat before priming.
Primer Application
The appropriate etch primer or adhesion primer applied by HVLP spray, achieving a fully bonded base layer.
Topcoat Application
A minimum of two full coats of the specified 2K topcoat applied, achieving a consistent, even finish across both door faces and all surrounding profiles.
De-mask, Inspect & Handover
All masking removed, door mechanisms checked for free operation, and a quality inspection completed before the building re-opens.
